Policy Analyst, Alberta Council for Environmental Education (ACEE)

ACEE seeks to hire a qualified Policy Analyst on a short-term contract, who would report directly to the Executive Director of ACEE.  The Analyst will…

• compile best policy practices that support environmental education
• assess strengths and weaknesses of the existing policy framework for environmental education in Alberta
• identify relevant policy alternatives, and
• communicate the results of this work with key environmental education stakeholders

A total budget of up to $16,000 (dependent on qualifications) is available for remuneration and to offset costs incurred by the Analyst. Although this person would ideally be based in Alberta, other possibilities will be considered.  This work must be complete by the end of November 2008 at the latest. Please note that Friday 4 July is the deadline to apply for this position.
