Common Ground is a documentary-drama that depicts an interaction between an Aboriginal Hunter and an Alberta Fish and Wildlife Officer. Featuring commentary from traditional Aboriginal Hunters and leadership from Alberta’s Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Branch, Common Ground explores their historical and contemporary relationship - and the common ground they stand on.

This video may serve as an entry-way into discussions surrounding wildlife conservation and Aboriginal hunters' and Fish and Wildlife Officers' shared goal of conserving Alberta's wildlife.

For generations, the relationship between Aboriginal people and the rest of Canada has been damaged. Can water be the common ground that begins to reconcile this relationship?

We think so. Watch the films. Teach the Curriculum. Begin the dialogue.
