Alberta Youth Leaders for Environmental Education - Teacher Sign Up Form 2022/23

This form is for grades 7-12 Alberta teachers who would like to receive email updates about the 2021-2022 AYLEE program and involve their students in the program AND grades K-6 teachers who would like to participate in the peer-to-peer mentorship opportunity.

Grades 7-12 Info: The Alberta Youth Leaders for Environmental Education (AYLEE) program provides students grades 7-12 throughout Alberta with opportunities to collaborate with like-minded youth, present at provincial education and environmental conferences, meet with education leaders and politicians, and receive support for action projects. To learn more about the program and what you can expect as teacher, please view our website: https://www.abcee.org/aylee If you are a teacher who does not have a specific class you would like to get involved but who knows of students who may be interested in participating, please share the Youth Sign Up Form with them.

Grades K-6 Info: This year, we are also providing a peer-to-peer mentorship opportunity for grades K-6 teachers to engage their EcoSchool in. Many of our AYLEE members have worked on action projects before, such as vermicomposting and energy efficiency, and they would love to share their expertise with you and your students! Through a Slack channel, you and/or your students will be able to ask AYLEE members questions about your project and receive tips, recommendations, and resources. If you're interested in joining the AYLEE network through this opportunity, use this form to be added to the Slack channel! (If you've never used Slack before, we're happy to walk you through it!)

If you have any questions, please contact our Youth and Program Coordinator, Sneha Rose Jigo (she/her), at sneha@abcee.org
