Activity Description 1. Cut the plastic bottle about 2 inches from the top of the bottle using an x-acto knife. 2. Halfway down the bottle, mark ten equally spaced lines around it. Mark another ten lines in the spaces in between just below your first set of lines. 3. Make a vertical cut from the top of the bottle to the top of your first line to make strips of plastic. 4. Use the x-acto knife to make a small incision through the second set of lines. 5. Fold the vertical strips towards the outside of the bottle and insert the strip into the incision to the left of the strip. Repeat this process with each strip. 6. Paint and decorate your new upcycled flower pot!
