Calgary EcoSchools - November Update

There's a lot going on with Calgary EcoSchools this month! Check out our calendar filled with helpful mini-sessions. And keep reading to access useful resources and learn how make your EcoSchools experience positive and rewarding. 
 

As EcoSchools Canada's on-the-ground delivery partner in Alberta, we're here to help Calgary teachers just like you.  So, don't be shy - join us for one or several of our after-school mini-sessions and learn how to get started.  This month, there are three quick and informative sessions to choose from:

Getting Started - Learn how to register your school so you can start exploring the powerful EcoSchools Canada platform. You'll find 40 actions to choose from, each with its own action guide and resources.  Remember: this is free for Calgary schools and there's no obligation to formally join the program.


Creating the Perfect Eco-Plan for Your School - Find out how to start creating an action plan specifically tailored to your school.  We'll go over the Sustainability Review and other useful tips including curriculum connections and how to adapt to Covid. 


EcoSchools Help Desk - Get quick answers any and all your questions.

Register Your School 

Once you have registered, you can explore the platform and all its features and resources - available in both official languages. There is no cost to do this, and no obligation to formally apply for certification. So register now, and start exploring!

Sustainability Review

Once you have registered onto the EcoSchools on-line platform, a great place to start is to complete the Sustainability Review.   This will help you review the menu of 40 actions and start building an Eco-Plan that is specifically tailored to your school.
