The 2017 Alberta Climate Summit, hosted by the Pembina Institute, has an exciting new aspect this year: the Youth Energy Changemakers pitch! The program is open to youth ages 16-25 with ideas and innovative thinking around energy and climate solutions.
Generously supported by the RBC Foundation, this program will give successful applicants the opportunity for coaching, mentorship and guidance around their idea, leading to an opportunity to pitch their ask in front of the Alberta Climate Summit audience. The audience includes the “who’s who” of the energy world – from government representatives to industry. Participants will also receive connections and networking opportunities to share their knowledge, collect feedback and unique support for their idea.
