Aligning your programs with new curriculum

A big thanks to those that attended and took the dive into understanding and exploring the new K-4 curriculum with help from Michele Jones of the Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium

In this workshop, we....

  • understood¬†the shift in new curriculum to 'concept-based' and 'competency based' learning - guided by Michele Jones of the Edmonton Regional Learning Consortia
  • explored competencies using newly created 'environmental stewardship' competency cards
  • engaged with the new drafts of K-4 curriculum (bring a laptop or tablet)
  • explored what this means for your programs
