Energy Educators Gathering - 10:00am to 1:45pm - lunch provided

Updated Energy Transition Game - play, learn and test it - 2:00 to 4:00pm - snacks provided

August 26th at the Delta Inn South - Note Room Change: Fireside Room - 135 Southland Dr SE, Calgary

We decided to do this on August 26th as many of you are presenting at Inside Education's A+ for Energy/Renewable Energy Education teacher professional learning institute and we could do this all in one day and at the same location.

The Energy Educators Gathering  (10:00am to 1:45pm) - for organizations that deliver K-12 energy education in Alberta to connect, share, and learn what others are doing in energy education. We will also explore how we can better work together to deliver energy education. We'll also continue to work on 'best practices' for energy education and review what we think students need to learn to be energy literate.

Updated Energy Transition Game (2:00 to 4:00pm) - Want to be part of a fun and engaging game about our energy transition and the key stakeholders involved? Learn more by playing the game and we’d appreciate your feedback on the new and updated version (originally developed by Suncor staff) as we get ready to launch it for grade 9 to 12 teachers and students.

Please RSVP by registering below.

“Schools should prepare us for the future, not the past. The future of the world will be built on sustainability. If we learn what sustainable technologies are available when we are in school, we will be able to help shape the future of global sustainability when we graduate.”
