Based in Lacombe County, Ellis Bird Farm provides field trip programs to elementary schools in Central Alberta. Field trips focus on birds, wetlands, plants, and insects.

Check back every August for new programs in a variety of environmental topics, such as "Backyard Ecologists" (K-1), "Water Filters" (Gr.4), "Wetland Inquiry" (Gr. 5), "Sparking Circuits" (Gr.5), "Water for All" (Gr. 8), "Electricity Blocks" (Gr. 9), "Pipeline Challenge" (Gr. 7), & "Soil Processes" (Gr. 9). 

Elements Society provides school programs related to sustainability and waste.

Green Teacher sells books (including print and ebooks) on a variety of topics, with some available in French as well. They have a podcast and offer consulting services in Environmental Education and Outdoor Environmental Education. 

Calgary Zoo provides field trip programs for all Grades relating to ecosystems and diversity, as well as a week-long Zoo School.

Field trips are offered for all Grades including high school Biology 20 and 30. Topics include wetlands, wildlife, ecology, and biodiversity.

Green School (Gr. 4-8) is a five-school day long experience at the Devonian Botanic Garden.
